Welcome to Mother Mary Ministry!
I am Elizabeth! I strive to run towards Heaven surrounded by others. At a young age, I experienced tragedy that required turning to God and placing my heart into His hands. Since then, I have had the immense privilege to walk in Jesus’ footsteps in The Holy Land followed by a pilgrimage to Italy one year later. These two trips, the tragedy I walked through, and countless other experiences have led me to a passion of sharing the Catholic Church with others, so they too can experience Christ’s unconditional love and overwhelming peace.
The name, Mother Mary Ministry, was placed on my heart nearly a decade ago, and I didn’t know why. Fast forward to this past year with thanks of many friends, I learned why. While leading a women’s bible study, I would send recap emails that contained much more than the meeting place and what was discussed. I found joy in sharing Catholic content creators, book recommendations, and gift ideas with the women. When I was struggling at work and desiring something new, these ladies spoke truth into me about how impactful my emails have been in their lives. While I decided this would not be a fulltime job, I knew God instilled in me a love for sharing nuggets of faith and resources with others. A month passed and I purchased the domain while discerning what this platform would look like. A whole year passed before I finally pressed publish. God works in mysterious ways! During that year, I was tempted to give up because the thoughts of “Who would read this?” and “You are not talented enough.” and “Why even try?” would play in my mind. Then during an examination of conscience, I recognized that I was failing to act on God’s desire for me. I was actively choosing to ignore Him. I opened my laptop back up to find out that I was locked out of my domain and I would have to start over from scratch - another temptation to give up. With a renewed spirit, I was determined. This determination was confirmed when I walked into the Walking With Purpose conference on Spiritual Motherhood. The exact desire of this ministry. God instilled in me a love and passion for connecting others to resources that will deepen their faith and guide them to Christ.
In a digital era, we consume so much content, so why not make it Catholic? I strongly believe God has called me to be a spiritual mother in this digital era. Through the intercession of Mary, whom I love, this ministry was created to bring Catholic content created by talented individuals to you. I will share with you nuggets of faith, Catholic content creators, podcast and book recommendations, and more! Let’s walk together on this earthly pilgrimage!
