Corpus Christi Sunday!
Tomorrow(Sunday, June 7, 2025), the Catholic Church celebrates Corpus Christi. This feast day, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, celebrates and honors the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. During Mass, Catholics believe the priest, In persona Chrisiti, offers the sacrifice transforming the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ.
When asked why I am Catholic, this teaching, this belief, this theology, this feast day is the answer. I believe in the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Jesus is truly present in every tabernacle, in every Catholic Parish whenever the red sanctuary candle is lit(which is basically every day).

The Gospel Reading for Corpus Christi Sunday is from John 6! These verses, among some proceeding and following, are known as the Bread of Life Discourse.
Following the Second Reading, there will be a sequence that is typically sung or chanted.
Many parishes will host a Eucharistic Procession.
